Job Purpose

Als Supplier Quality Engineer ben je de spilfiguur tussen onze leveranciers, productie en interne kwaliteitsafdeling. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alle geleverde onderdelen voldoen aan de hoge kwaliteitsnormen van Dana. Je bent zowel hands-on op de productielijn (50%) als actief op kantoor (50%). Je brengt structuur, neemt initiatief en bent niet bang om zelf op de werkvloer te gaan kijken waar het misloopt.

Je hebt een coachende rol: je stuurt mensen aan, stelt kritische vragen (“Waarom volg je deze procedure niet?”), en begeleidt operators bij non-conformiteiten. Daarnaast coördineer je sorting-acties, beslis je over scrap, re-assembly of terugsturen, en volg je klachtenrapporten van leveranciers op.

Je werkt nauw samen met Purchasing, Engineering en productie en bent een belangrijke schakel in het verbeteren van processen en het voorkomen van productiestilstanden. Sporadisch reis je naar leveranciers binnen Europa (minder dan 10%).

Reports to the Supplier Quality Manager. There are regular contacts with the manager for exchanging information and taking critical decisions. Regular contacts with Purchasing, Engineering and Production departments are necessary. External contacts with suppliers and with Supplier Development Engineering.

Profiel

Must-haves:

-Bachelor  in mechanica, industrieel ingenieur of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
-Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in Quality, waarvan 3 jaar in Supplier Quality.
-Technische achtergrond: kunnen lezen van technische tekeningen, kennis van meetmethodes.
-Ervaring met kwaliteitstools: SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, RedX.
-Kennis van ISO-systemen en AIAG core tools.
-Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en stressbestendig.
-Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels
-Bereidheid tot sporadisch reizen (-10%).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

-Beoordelen van nonconformiteiten en deviaties
-Organiseren en superviseren van sorting/rework activiteiten (intern of extern).
-Ondersteunen van de assemblagelijn bij non-conformiteiten en onmiddellijk actie ondernemen.
-Opvolgen van klachtenrapporten en beoordelen van 8D-rapporten van leveranciers.
-Kritisch opvolgen van nieuwe producten en proceswijzigingen, inclusief bezoeken aan leveranciers.
-Rapporteren van kwaliteitscijfers en voorbereiden van cost recovery documentatie.
-Samenwerken met Purchasing en Engineering in een coördinerende rol.
-Plannen en uitvoeren van leveranciersaudits om processen en producten te borgen
-Actief bijdragen aan duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen en ISO-normen.
 

 

 

Job Duties:

Key Activity Area 1: Supplier Audits

“Plan and execute audits at supplier locations in order to have secured processes and liable products parts in order to prevent production line stops.”

Key Activity Area 2: Supplier support & development

“Follow up, monitor, calculate and develop the supplier in order to guarantee the delivered parts are qualitative and meet the specifications of Dana.”

Key Activity Area 3: Technical Support Purchasing

“Support the Purchasing Department during the selection and evaluation process of potential suppliers in order to guarantee qualitative suppliers meeting the specifications of Dana.”

Key Activity Area 4: RRR decision

“Take decisions of rejected supplier parts in order to guarantee the delivered parts are qualitative and meet the specifications of Dana.”
