Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Emergency Management Department of NAS SIGONELLA. Responsibilities You will develop and implement an emergency management plan to include natural and man-made disasters. You will train a workforce on topics relating to emergency management programs. You will resolve critical emergency management situations that affect organization wide operations You will evaluate an emergency management program to identify and resolve conflicting goals and objectives You will assess emergency management processes, plans, standard operating procedures, or guidance for compliance with established emergency management directives, regulations, civil rights laws, and standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing emergency management plans for responding to natural disasters and other emergencies; 2) Performing analysis of emergency management plans to present recommendations for improvements; 3) Evaluating an organizations ability to deal with vulnerabilities, emergency situations, and hazards effectively; and 4) Developing training exercises and drills to practice emergency response techniques.
