About the role
A Studio Warehouse Operative will be focused on safeguarding Home samples through the warehouse storage and studio shoot process. You will play a key role in the scanning, picking, locating Home samples and will be responsible for transporting these on an ad-hoc basis between our Head Office, locations houses and multiple studio sites.. The role will encompass working in our ‘Goods In / Out area, picking / returns and the requirement to use MHE. in order to carry out these tasks.
Responsibilities
- Using the studio database, scan and register home products onto the system ready for storage and location
- Using required MHE to locate and transport studio samples
- Safe guard the studio sample through thee studio shoot process and storage
- Securely wrap all home samples, including heavy furniture (sofas, beds, cabinets etc). for transportation to location, press events and and trade meeting s
- Transport samples on an ad-hoc basis between all four studio sites and locations houses
- Loading and unloading the Goods in / out vehicles
- Produce accurate delivery notes for deliveries
- Collection and returns of hire props and equipment for photo shoots.
- Responsible for the safety of colleagues and yourself in the workplace. To report or deal with any hazards, incidents and accidents.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
- Available and flexible to work across all studio sites and location . if required
- Assist in Ad hoc duties as set out by the Senior Studio Production Coordinator when required.
About you
- Warehouse experience essential
- Full UK driving licence essential. Experience in driving a van would be desired.
- Reach,balance licences required or willingness to train
- Must be physically fit due to the heavy lifting of samples.
- Mac/ PC literate & have some level of experience in data input.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
- Be able to contribute and work effectively within a team environment and as part of the wider studio team.
