Job DescriptionAre you passionate about climate and energy related topics? Do you want to help promote solutions for climate friendly construction machines, decarbonized data centers and electrification of transport? And are you eager to learn more about how one of Denmark’s biggest industrial players engages with policy makers on a national and global scale? Then you could be our next student worker.Danfoss Group Communication and Sustainability is looking for new student workers for our Public Affairs team and/or Public Relations team. Our teams are making a difference from Copenhagen, Nordborg, Berlin and Brussels. We can promise you great learnings within the field public affairs and/or media relations, great colleagues, and the chance to work with some important agendas for one of Denmark’s largest industrial players.Job ResponsibilitiesTasks will include:

  • Working closely with the rest of the Public Affairs team members to execute on strategic priorities, including project management, research, and communication tasks.
  • Drafting of position papers, briefs, presentations and op-eds on national and global climate and energy topics.
  • Monitoring of political and legislative developments.
  • Desk research on various climate, energy, industry, and policy topics.
  • Ad-hoc tasks, for instance on events and meeting preparation and execution.

Background & Skills

  • Currently a student in political science, international business and politics or similar. We would prefer if you have at least a year or more left before you graduate.
  • An interest in climate and energy topics with a desire to develop an approach to business – relevant prior experience is very welcome.
  • A problem-solver with a can-do attitude, organizational skills, and ability to manage time and projects.
  • Curious mindset, with a strong motivation to explore new and technical topics.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills with an eye for detail. Danish skills are an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • A team player who can also work independently and excels at prioritizing different tasks and ensuring timely follow-up on tasks.
