You will have experience of working with 16-19 year olds and adults with high social needs in an advice setting. You will provide and promote specialist advice and guidance to students on a range of issues such as finance, housing, welfare benefits, bursary application, fees status and immigration including flexible student focussed drop in sessionsYou will be expected to advise College management on policies and strategic issues relating to student welfare that may impact on student retention and achievement. You will work with other members of the Student Services teams and teaching staff to advertise the service and ensure that information is reaching all students/Staff across the organisation.
