About usStudent and Registry Services is one of the larger Professional Services divisions at UCL, providing essential services to UCL’s 50,000 students, 160,000 applicants and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high-quality student experience.UCL Student Support and Wellbeing Services (SSW) provides information, advice and welfare support for all registered students, including delivery of related student events.About the roleWe are seeking to recruit an individual who enjoys and thrives in a busy administrative environment to provide administrative support to the Student Support and Wellbeing Team.The duties of the role include responding to Applicant Support Questionnaires, Student Enquiries, answering the telephone, booking appointments and sharing key information. The postholder will also provide advice and support to disabled students and prospective students and those who may be affected by wellbeing and/or mental health conditions. This includes remote same day appointments, telephone, email and enquiry support. With support, the postholder will identify reasonable adjustments for individual students, liaising with academic and other staff to ensure their needs are disseminated in a confidential manner, as well as promoting the service and leading on wellbeing initiatives throughout the UCL community. This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator who would like to experience support and wellbeing work.If you have any queries about the role, please contact Paula Broome at:This role is offered on a part-time (0.6 FTE) basis, equating to 21.9 hours per week.Please note the salary listed is based on the full-time salary not the part-time salary.About youThe successful applicant will have previous experience of managing a large and demanding administrative workload, whilst working in an environment that involves effective time management and prioritising to meet deadlines; this will be combined with excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
