Student Assistant for Corporate Sustainability

Join a global pharmaceutical company committed to improving the quality of life for people living with brain diseases. You will get hands-on experience with corporate sustainability and develop your information management and communication skills.

Your job and key responsibilities

You will learn how sustainability initiatives and requirements are put into action across a global company. You will mainly support the team in coordinating and developing our work processes, project management, and communication. You will also be responsible for certain projects and have your own areas of responsibility.

Your main tasks will be:

-Facilitate cross-functional teamwork with digital tools and continuously improve our operational processes, dashboards etc.
-Development and execution of internal and external communication content and sustainability employee engagement campaigns
-Handle requests for sustainability information from various stakeholders such as ESG rating agencies or customers
-Develop and update internal and external websites.
-Conducting research on new sustainability frameworks, external stakeholders’ views, or perform benchmarking of our performance.
-Assist in coordinating projects and initiatives to strengthen our sustainability efforts and reporting.
-A limited number of shared student administrative tasks and office support e.g. expense management and IT software license administration.
 

Your future team

From our locations in Copenhagen and Kraków we are play the central role in Lundbeck’s global efforts to operationalize Lundbeck’s sustainability commitments and report transparently on our impacts and actions. Through our sustainability strategy, we aim to mitigate business risks, reduce negative impacts, and make positive contributions to societal challenges where possible.

You will be part of a team of three full-time employees and 1 student position Copenhagen. We are part of the Global Legal, Compliance and Sustainability departments where we have a student collective of 3-5 students. We also work closely with many departments across Lundbeck not least our colleagues in the ESG Financial Reporting and Controlling team. You will report to the Head of Corporate Sustainability.

What you bring to the team

-Communicate effectively and appreciate collaborating in a global context
-Have a very high attention to detail and enjoy planning and organizing
-Comfortable in handling large amounts of data and facts
-Are thorough in your approach, but can move fast when it is needed
-Are interested in working with corporate sustainability and your study focus is economics, business, finance, communication or other relevant fields
-Approach routine or more demanding tasks with a positive attitude and is a true team player

Further information

The working hours are 15-20 hours per week and the location is Valby, Copenhagen.

Your work can be arranged flexibly according to your lectures, exams etc. Similarly, we expect flexibility and commitment from you in terms of business deadlines.

We expect you to be able to stay with us for a couple of years before you graduate.
