Our Investment Team focuses on early-stage direct investments in start-ups decarbonising shipping and logistics. Based in Copenhagen and investing since 2017, we have a portfolio of 43 companies around the worldA rare opportunity to join a small team with extensive experience in CVC. You will become an integral part of our team while you are here and are expected to contribute and take on responsibility from day one.We offer:Gain visibility into the full venture investment process from sourcing to closing and portfolio management. Gain insight into the unique aspects of a Corporate Venture Unit within a global market leading organisation and how we collaborate with start-ups through our Venture Client team. Build sector specific knowledge in decarbonisation and supply chain technology and build your own personal network within the start-up ecosystem.Key responsibilities:As our new team member, you will become part of our dedicated and experienced Investment Team and work closely with our External Engagement team. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

  • Source investment and PoC opportunities by scouting platforms, checking leads from VC firms, market studies and other sources
  • Analyse new markets and investment opportunities. Contributing to development of investment cases and market research insights
  • Support internal operations related to portfolio reporting, research, marketing and much more. Automating and improving processes

We welcome you taking initiative to continuously improve how we work, and encourage you to take up projects that you are passionate aboutWhat are we looking for:Preferably, you are in the last year of your Bachelor studies or have just started your Master’s in Business, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship or similar.

  • A keen interest in the start-up investment world, decarbonisation, and solving complex problems
  • Outstanding analytical skills, that allow for a data-driven and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly convey the results of your analysis in a structured manner
  • The ability to think on your feet and work independently, while being a true team player and helping-out others when needed
  • A personal drive and high levels of curiosity, persistence, and responsibility
  • First experience in investment banking, consulting, or venture capital would be a plus
  • The flexibility to support us for appr. 15-20 hours per week, ideally on full days
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Danish is not required for this position
