Job Description – Apprentice (Indirect Procurement Europe)

-Functional support from: Belgian Procurement Manager (Packaging)

Role Purpose

The apprentice supports the Indirect Procurement team across European operations, with a primary focus on Packaging category. The role aims to develop procurement expertise through active contribution to sourcing activities, supplier performance management, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Procurement (Primary Scope)

-Support procurement activities for packaging across all European sites
-Assist in tender processes (RFQ/RFP preparation, supplier follow-up, analysis)
-Set up and update price lists in SAP for Packaging
-Monitor supplier performance and manage non-conformities
-Track and follow up Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to close
-Collaborate with stakeholders across sites and functions
-Provide support for other Packaging related projects
-Provide operational support and continuity when the buyer / manager is unavailable
Support the European Indirect Procurement team (Secondary Scope) if requested
