Strategy Manager – m/f/d

With around 9,000 employees, AGRANA is the global leader in fruit preparations and also a major producer of fruit juice concentrates in Europe as well as being a key manufacturer of customised starch products and organic ethanol in its Starch segment. AGRANA is also one of today’s leading sugar companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

To enhance our Strategy & Transformation department at our Vienna site, we are seeking a dedicated Strategy Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

In this position you will lead strategic projects and contribute to the transformation management office (TMO) in formulating and executing our strategy at AGRANA.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic projects across the AGRANA Group and its Divisions/Business Units.
• Engage with (senior) stakeholders to understand key business drivers and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Support the Head of Strategy in identifying new strategic opportunities for the Group.
• Analyze data, conduct market research, and prepare impactful presentations to support decision-making.
• Coordinate and manage project workstreams, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
• Collaborate closely with the TMO to drive the successful implementation of our transformation program.

Your profile

• Completed higher education (e.g., a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics) or an equivalent qualification, ideally an MBA
• At least 5 years of experience in (strategy) consulting or similar
• Proven experience leading large-scale strategic projects
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
• Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
• Excellent communication skills and experience in presenting to senior management
• Strong project management skills and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Understanding of the agricultural industry preferred
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
