Strategic Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and execute visionary sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives
• Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while expertly managing these vital relationships
• Partner with internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand their unique procurement needs and provide strategic counsel
• Vigilantly analyse market trends and industry best practices, identifying opportunities to drive cost savings
• Exercise vigilant oversight of supplier performance, swiftly implementing corrective measures when necessary
• Maintain a current understanding of industry regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all sourcing endeavours

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Procurement experience, specifically evidenced experience of strategically sourcing vendors or suppliers
• Experience in engineering management or a related industry such as automotive or aerospace
• Displays passion, energy, drive, and agility
• Resilience in achieving ambitious targets under difficult circumstances, capitalising on lessons learned and responding positively to setbacks
• Enjoys analysing complex and sometimes incomplete information to create easy-to-communicate solutions
• Sets stretched goals for themselves and their suppliers, prepared to take measured risks to gain a competitive advantage
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
