The position
You will report to the Senior Manager of the CMC Finance & Supply Chain team, which consists of 6 engaged colleagues. As an experienced finance professional, you are urged to contribute to the development of your junior colleagues, also intended to mature your leadership skills for future career opportunities.
As a Senior Finance Partner, your responsibilities include:

-Designing and operating the annual financial processes of budgeting and reporting on research and development costs, including planning, and executing budget updates, and ensuring transparency and understanding of changes between budget rounds.
-Delivering high-quality insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions.
-Driving value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, ensuring the connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, and delivering trusted finance business partnering to support strategic decision-making.
-Steering the integration of capacity and M&A investments to operational budgets and ensuring the link between finance and the supply and demand outlook for the R&D pipeline.
Finally, you will be involved in the optimisation of core financial processes, which require a well-established experience to aid in the financial management.
To succeed in this position, you will navigate through a complex stakeholder landscape with a strong strategic focus as well as influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels and across diverse professional disciplines.

The position is based in Bagsværd with stakeholders in other Novo Nordisk locations in the Greater Copenhagen area.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar) with at least 4-5 years of work experience within finance, preferably in a similar setting.
Furthermore, you possess:

-A good understanding of financial management and controlling; experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an advantage.
-Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and SAP is an advantage, but not a prerequisite; however, a willingness to explore and work with these tools is needed.
-Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
-Proficiency in both oral and written English.
-Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
The CMC Finance & Supply Chain team is anchored in CMC Executive Office, where we deliver high quality support towards the senior management in CMC.
