For more information, please visit .The RoleJoin our team as a Statutory Accountant – Lotteries APAC, responsible for overseeing Lottery operations in the APAC region.For this position, we require a Mandarin speakerResponsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for multiple legal entities.
- Provide timely reports to multiple stakeholders monthly.
- Responsible for preparation of multiple annual financial statements and having the statutory audits completed.
- Responsible for the direct and indirect tax compliance of the various entities.
- Responsible for accurate and efficient financial analysis and reporting for the Lottery Division.
- Responsible directly for accounts payables, accounts receivable and general ledger activities for the Lotteries operational, holding entities along with outsource service partner.
- Assess and monitor compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
- Supports budget and forecasting activities.
- Maintain the banking and treasury relationships.
- Support sales and FP&A in bidding for new contracts and further advising on revenue and cost recognition based on USGAAP
- Coordinate with corporate accounting/ sales for proper recognition of revenue, cost of sales, inventory, and assets
- Advises regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the legal entities.
- Drive special projects and workflow process improvements.
Qualifications
- Requirements for the position
- Good Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong result orientation and pro-activity with a high degree of customer orientation
- Strong financial controlling and general ledger accounting skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions
- University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Controlling /Economics.
- Preferable if qualified ACCA/ACA/RA/CPA.
- 4-6 years of work experience
- Fluent in English and Manadrin (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible in working hours to cover APAC region in CET time zone
