About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join Barts Clinical Trials Unit, within the internationally-renowned Wolfson Institute of Population Health at Queen Mary University of London. Our portfolio of studies include lung cancer screening, prostate cancer detection, cervical cancer screening, detection of gynaecological cancers with opportunities to be involved in other projects.The postholder will provide statistical support for research studies, assist in design of new studies, and ensure that data is analysed accurately to maximise the quality of publishable results from research studies that they work on. Their work will ultimately improve evidence and methods for a healthier, better world.About YouThe candidate should have an undergraduate degree and post-graduate degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience. They will have experience of using statistical computing software such as R or STATA, strong analytical and statistical skills, and communicating with non-specialists.About the School/Department/Institute/ProjectBarts CTU is part of the Centre for Evaluation and Methods within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. Our centre specialises in evaluating the clinical effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and implementation of healthcare innovations, and methodology to support these evaluations.
