The position
As a Statistical Programming Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will leverage your expertise to challenge existing standards and drive impactful solutions. With a result-oriented approach, you will break down complex issues into practical solutions while optimizing business results. Effective communication skills will be key as you explain technical concepts to peers and actively seek and incorporate feedback.
We are looking for a strong statistical programmer to support our International Lead Programmer in the Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies (RD&AT) and your responsibilities in this job will be:
-Clinical study programming
-Submission preparation of clinical data to authorities
-Project management and data story telling
-Coordination and bridging knowledge between Biostatistics, SDTM programmers and DM
Qualifications
The core requirements to succeed in this position are:
-MSc, PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application)
-5 years of experience within clinical development or biostatistics
-Demonstrated ability to lead and drive projects as a proactive team member
-Skilled programmer within R, Python and/or SAS
-It is an advantage if you have experience with CDISC standards, clinical study work and visualization tools (eg. Tableau, Qlik, R Shiny, Power BI or Sisense)
As a person you have a positive mindset and a passion for fostering constructive innovation. You can drive progress autonomously, setting the direction with foresight and proactive decision-making.
About the department
Biostatistics department is a part of Data Science organization and consists of close to 300 statisticians and statistical programmers globally.
About 200 is situated in Denmark in Søborg
and Aalborg offices. Biostatistics are organised in smaller units within clinical therapeutic areas ensuring close collaboration with our various stakeholders. Primarily we perform our scientific and programming work in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of tasks and challenges and provide a strong scientific community. We have many international employees and, we welcome non-local applicants. We maintain a positive and collaborative atmosphere in our everyday work and ensure a healthy work-life balance.
