Created in 1983, its mission is to accelerate rare diseases diagnosis and early detection.This internship position requires a highly motivated individual to take on multiple tasks in an international context.The role requires:Strong research skills: Ability to assist in researching and analyzing innovative finance models for rare disease investments, as well as building and maintaining databases related to rare diseases, caregivers, and drug repurposing efforts (60%). Partnership development aptitude: Capacity to support the research and development of partnerships for printing and distributing Fondation Ipsen’s books, including researching potential partners aligned with the Foundation’s mission and goals (20%). Social media and content creation proficiency: Skills in monitoring rare diseases news and ecosystem, proposing content ideas for social media platforms, and assisting in creating engaging and informative social media posts, articles, and multimedia content related to rare diseases (10%). Administrative support capability: Ability to provide general administrative support to the Fondation Ipsen team, including preparing documents, organizing events, and collaborating on various projects and tasks as needed (10%).Main responsibilities / job expectationsSupporting Research Activities of Fondation Ipsen [60%]

  • Assist in researching and analyzing innovative finance models for rare disease investments, contributing to the development of the Foundation’s strategy to derisk such investments.
  • Aid in building and maintaining databases related to rare diseases biotechs, drug repurposing and international foundations working in the field.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects by collecting and synthesizing relevant data and information.
  • Assist in organizing and documenting research findings for internal use and external dissemination.

Strategic Partnerships for Printing and Distributing Fondation Ipsen’s Books [20%]

  • Research potential partners for printing and distributing Fondation Ipsen’s books, focusing on organizations aligned with the Foundation’s mission and goals.
  • Assist in developing a clear strategy to establish partnerships, including outreach plans and collaboration proposals.
  • Support the implementation of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s objectives and values.
  • Help monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Monitoring Rare Diseases News for Communications Content [10%]

  • Stay updated on news and developments in the rare disease ecosystem, including scientific advancements, policy changes, and community initiatives.
  • Propose content ideas and topics to the Communications manager for publication on social media platforms, aligning with the Foundation’s messaging and objectives.
  • Assist in creating engaging and informative social media posts, articles, and multimedia content related to rare diseases.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to schedule and optimize content distribution across various channels.

General Support to Various Activities in Collaboration with the Team [10%]

  • Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of Fondation Ipsen’s initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in fulfilling various responsibilities and tasks based on evolving organizational needs.

Knowledge, abilities & experienceEducation / Certifications:
