Your work will have a direct impact on billions of people around the world – helping unlock financial access to enable the future of money movement.Join Visa: A Network Working for Everyone.Job DescriptionThe Warsaw Visa Mobile team is looking for a talented Staff Test Engineer.You will lead Test Engineering efforts for the Visa Mobile team, regional initiatives, and future services.Key Responsibilities

• Build test automation script to support end to end tests
• Ensure efficient test case management across our software portfolio
• Set standards for test case format and coverage
• Build test tools to improve quality and performance
• Establish coding and test automation standards
• Lead efforts to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites
• Design testing environments to mirror production
• Collaborate with development leads to ensure alignment in testing coverage and engineering standards
• Work closely with quality assurance engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required. Master’s in computer science preferred.
• 7+ years software development and test experience
• Experience with Playwright preferred.
• Experience with the Karate testing suite
• Java, Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, Acceptance, Performance, Non-functional test, Certification test lifecycle, BDD/TDD methodology, API testing and Mobile app testing
• Experience testing large scale web, mobile, and backend services
• Experience in testing 3rd party JavaScript applications
• Experience in financial technologies preferred
• Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Go
• Strong Unix skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language.
• Real passion for high quality software engineering.
