Together we deliver broader social and community-focused initiatives that support our Company’s Purpose-based objectives!The EMEA SCI Team delivers an innovative portfolio of programmatic investments; engages in complex partnerships with community team members, and partners closely with the brand to deliver transformational experiences for the kid, the community, and our consumer!Who We Are Looking ForWe require an SCI Senior to join as a critical member of the Nike EMEA Social and Community Impact team. Through the lens of Sport & Society, the senior will focus on delivering positive impact to the community and the business.What Will You Work OnThe SCI Senior – Operations & Backyard EMEA, will support the team across fundamental operations and lead the community strategy across our EMEA HQ. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Leading operational field across our EMEA community portfolio including alignment with Finance, Legal and product donation processes and partnership with the Global SCI Operations team.
  • Lead the delivery of the Social and Community Impact strategy for Nike’s European Headquarters (EHQ/Backyard) partnering with key internal functions; Internal Communications, GPS and D,E&I.
  • Leading employee engagement strategies and supporting key internal stakeholder relationships, including alignment with Global SCI Engagement and Partnerships team.
  • Supporting the SCI Sport & Society Director and wider EMEA team, in driving Nike’s commitment to equitable access and experiences within the future of youth sport strategy.

This role will be responsible for supporting on all aspects of operational field including raising PO’s, setting up vendors, clearing payments and supporting contract management with community partners. The Senior will also lead the employment engagement strategy including local community partnerships, employee giving (GYB/NCIF) and partnering with DEI on our Nike United Employee Networks. It is expected that this person will establish strong connections to a variety of Nike functions and external stakeholders while finding opportunities for integration and collaboration. Finally, the SCI Senior will support the SCI Sport & Society Director to ensure Nike is demonstrated as a purpose-led funder, employer and enterprise.Who You Will Work WithBased in Hilversum (Nike EHQ) this role reports to SCI Sport & Society Director, EMEA and collaborates closely with wider Nike SCI EMEA team as well as the SCI Global Operations team. The role will partner cross functionally with Finance, Legal, DEI, GPS, ERG’s and Government and Public Affairs.What You Bring to NikeRequirements for the position include:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work across multiple different projects at one time, supporting different initiative tracks;
  • Proficiency in driving processes and project leadership to achieve team results;
  • Experience of supporting or leading cross-functional initiatives by networking, building relations, taking a collaborative approach and influencing others;
  • Experience of a corporate environment working with brand marketing and communication teams;
  • Planning and managing corporate volunteers;
  • Knowledge of the social impact, corporate responsibility and sports sectors, especially community-based sports programming;
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills with proven track record to structure and deliver content that encourages and engages others;
  • Proficient in writing and speaking English, additional languages are a bonus.
  • Desired professional experience in Social Impact/Corporate Responsibility/Non-profit Sector.
