That means developing, delivering, and selling the state-of-the-art products and digital tools that make top performers even better.If you are a current Under Armour teammate, apply to this position on thePurpose of RoleThe Under Armour Digital Commerce team responsible for UA.com and the UA App is seeking a driven and experienced DevOps Engineer to lead efforts in establishing and maintaining observability and continuous integration practices. This role is critical in defining and implementing basic processes for the team, as we are in the early stages of building our team and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in open-source technology, possesses strong leadership qualities, and is motivated to drive process improvements.Your Impact

• Prioritize security, stability, and quality as the primary focus in all aspects of the role
• Demonstrate a proven ability to rapidly develop solutions to achieve proof of concept and/or minimum viable product
• Collaborate closely with feature development teams to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for applications and critical business functions
• Contribute to the long-term architecture and strategy of Under Armour’s e-commerce ecosystem
• Establish and maintain standards for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery workflows for feature development teams
• Define and implement basic processes and best practices for site reliability engineering within the team
• Perform incident triage and response to ensure timely resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree
• Familiarity with cloud-based *aaS platforms and inter-cloud/service dependencies
• Familiarity in Docker, Kubernetes, Python
• Experience with DataDog
• Experience with API gateways
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other Continuous Integration tooling
• Experience with AWS
• Proficiency with source control including GitHub
• Strong command line navigation skills
• Experience with site performance profiling and tuning
• Familiarity with working within a service-oriented architecture

Preferred:

• Experience in transitioning incidents to observability and monitoring capabilities
• Experience with ServiceNow and/or Jira
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Proficiency in facilitating incident retrospectives
• Experience in driving initiatives with partner development teams and offshore operational teams

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
• Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office)
