This position is based in Bohumil, Prague – Jevany.
The position
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will need to have experience in manufacturing systems designing from mechanical engineering perspective, as well as in clean utilities – purified water, water for injection, clean steam, compressed air, not only in mechanical design but also technology and functional.
Your other responsibilities will be:
• Utilize engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in manufacturing and clean utility systems.
• Create, review, and approve technical documentation, including related Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), relevant to pharmaceutical production and clean utility systems.
• Technical and engineering support on Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) processes. Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide expertise in clean water systems, steam generation, and compressed air systems by defining technical requirements, designing minor modifications, and resolving technical issues. Design and execute tests of automation changes for clean utility systems.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination with related departments and team members to achieve project goals and enhance collaboration. Facilitate effective communication and coordination with suppliers, including technical aspects for Requests for Quotation (RFQ), consultancy, troubleshooting, and installation execution coordination.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical/process engineering, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ideally university degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemical technology/Process engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and best practices in the sector (e.g. Good Engineering Practice, ISPE guidelines, ASME BPE).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating P&ID drawings.
• Experience with Navisworks for 3D viewing/orientation.
• Familiarity with DeltaV and Siemens automation systems.
• Excellent soft skills, including innovative thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and strong cooperation and coordination skills within a team context.
• Fluent Czech and English language.
