Global Advance Supply Chain is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes across value chain of Innovative Medicine business. This program will bring standardized approach across process and data for Supply Chain finance (Management Accounting) function. The program will simplify the baseline and references for Management Accounting which then will lead into the consistent way of reading financial reporting for various Finance Management groups. Standardizing processes to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharm business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

As part of the Pharm Advance Supply Chain Program, we are looking for a senior Manager that can set direction and can drive implementation based on proven knowledge and experience in the field of ERP Finance, across Supply Chain Finance, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Intercompany processing, and End-to-End Value chain. The Technical Product Manager Global Supply Chain Finance will be an active member of the Pharm Supply Chain JJT team, driving global standardization within Pharma of ERP technology solutions in the scope of Supply Chain Finance.

The Technical Product Sr Manager Global Supply Chain Finance will be an active member of the ERP Finance JJT team, will lead team of 2 J&J experts plus consulting resources, and will drive global standardization within Pharma of ERP Supply Chain Finance technology solutions. The role will fundamentally lead all aspects of platform governance, continuous improvement & efficiencies across the ERP Supply Chain Finance scope, enabling strategic capabilities, human centered design, and platform integration across our digital ecosystem. The role will partner closely with the Pharm Transcend business process owners, SCT ecosystem owners and various vendor partners to ensure end to end capabilities are supported and evolved. The role will operate closely with the Pharm TranSCend deployment organization to grow and evolve the capabilities as business and regional deployments are executed.

The Technical Product Sr Manager ERP Supply Chain Finance role will take responsibility for an integrated solution design supporting Financial flows across following primary functions:

  • Plan (integration with OMP)

  • Make (specifically for IC toll manufacturing)

  • Deliver / Logistics / Trade Sales

  • Tax

  • Finance

Duties and Responsibilities–

Roadmap & Backlog

  • Own vision and prioritization of new technical features and/or enhancements for Intercompany capabilities to meet business needs.

  • Establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for Intercompany requirements.

  • Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency.

  • Further refine the backlog by adding necessary technical features and epics; work with Suppliers and Product owners, with regard to supplier delivered capacity & architectural integration is understood.

  • Help Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product / platform constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required

Solutioning

  • Accountable for solution design and implementation of the Intercompany capabilities for Pharma Supply Chain on the ERP platform and the integration with the ERP ecosystem

  • Drive business process standardization and strategies to drive best in class design for ERP Intercompany flows, including Intercompany Sales and Toll Manufacturing

  • Actively engage with business and functional teams in providing the best fit technical solutions while aligning to TranSCend program design and implementation standards

  • Drive selection of product / platform solution options, work with the Engineering team to assess tech elements of the solution prior to user testing and to balance tech debt

  • Provide technical leadership in the design and architecting of ERP solutions that will enable best in class integrations across End-to-End Intercompany flows, inclusive of integration technologies.

Delivery

  • Accountable for technical delivery and value realization in partnership with the business workstream lead

  • Accountable to manage the integrated build with the Engineering team to ensure the end-to-end build of a particular part of a solution is compliant and works as designed.

  • Oversee planning and execution of Technical Testing by Engineering team; Support business workstream lead to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing

  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required.

  • Drive continual measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges and improvement within value stream(s)

Leadership

  • Act as the JJT workstream lead for all Intercompany integration topics, partnering closely with the Intercompany business stakeholders.

  • Lead an international cross regional project team of Product Analysts through project design, execution, and deployment phases.

  • Coordinate, lead, coach, motivate and inspire the team to both deliver on agreed plans and to continuously improve.

  • Help Shape and Grow JJT organization to enable a global intake, build and sustain process that will drive parallel program releases and on-going operations, projects and enhancements as TranSCend goes live.

  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Domain Expertise

  • Deep End-to-End understanding of Financial and Logistical Flows in multinational operations and how primary functions integrate with one another (Plan, Make, Deliver, Finance, Tax).

  • Strong Knowledge of SAP-ERP integration across Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution and Financial Accounting and System Integration with the ERP ecosystem. Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA is preferred.

  • Understanding the end-to-end business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data.

  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry and good Knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
