We are looking for a highly motivated Sr Manager Market Development to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact in the clinical diagnostic market while collaborating with a world-class team.
As a Senior Manager in Market Development, your main role will be to develop and implement effective strategies and programs that foster growth within our Clinical Diagnostics Division portfolio. This position requires close collaboration with different teams, including business units, commercial teams, and marketing, to identify areas of potential growth and successfully implement strategies and plans that drive business expansion. You will also be responsible for leading the development of our Diagnostics Services and Reagents business marketing strategy, strengthening business partnerships, and accelerating opportunities. Additionally, you will work alongside regional teams to create and implement marketing strategies and tools for our distributors.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Drive Market Development: Collate and analyze feedback from customers, regional counterparts, and market data to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive challenges. Use this information to inform the market development strategy. Develop proposals, gain leadership approval, and lead cross-functional projects for market growth and increased market share.

Lead Partner Marketing: Create and execute strategic marketing plans to increase customer engagement and expand our market presence. Coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives, collaborate with other marketing teams, and support sales enablement programs and tools to improve commercial effectiveness and drive sales growth. Facilitate the development of product positioning and value proposition to differentiate our offerings and meet customer needs. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing efforts and facilitate content development between product management and marketing teams. Work closely with regional teams to develop and implement distributor marketing and training strategies, programs, and tools. Regularly track and analyze the performance
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of working experience in market or business development

Proven career experience in B2B marketing

Ability to approach complex issues with integrated thinking and fact-based analysis and effectively communicate recommendations.

Skilled in written and verbal communication, influencing, leading multiple projects, and working in a matrix organization

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Experience in developing strategies for entering new markets or new customer segments and assessing the potential for growth.

Strong project management background

Experience in working in a complex matrix organization and demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and geographies

Education or working experience in vitro diagnostics and/or healthcare
