They ensure that all employees are paid on time and in accordance with LYB policies and local laws. They may also be tasked with developing and implementing new policies or procedures related to payroll. This might include anything from updating tax tables to creating in cooperation new benefits plans.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing payroll data for accuracy, including processing payroll adjustments and resolving discrepancies;
- Monitoring government regulations and changes in labor law which may affect payroll processes;
- Maintaining employee records such as tax documents and employee files;
- Preparing reports on employee compensation costs, deductions, withholdings, benefits costs, and other relevant data;
- Reviewing and approving time sheets to ensure that employees’ hours have been recorded accurately;
- Managing the payroll process including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees’ wages;
- Monthly integration testing support for NL;
- Supports all HR applications 1st line e.g. CATS, PAD, HR Portal etc.;
- Take preventive controls and data overview to detect possible mistakes from other stakeholders inputting data into the system;
- Support the Benefit administrator with all of the year end and yearly controls.

This is what you bring
- (Preference of) a bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a SAP payroll position.
- Computer skills: SAP, Successfactors and Microsoft Office.
- Languages: Dutch and English
