We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and help us develop and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software applications. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and PostgreSQL, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby. As a Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer at Avamia, you will work closely with our software developers to noptimize application performance, improve system scalability, and ensure the security and reliability of our client’s systems.

5+ years of experience developing applications using Ruby on Rails.

Proven proficiency in React and JavaScript, with a firm grasp of their concepts and nuances.

In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS.

Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimization.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Reliable high-speed internet access and own equipment and software tools necessary to perform the role.

This is a part-time contract role with a flexible schedule that will be determined on a project-by-project basis. The role is fully remote.

Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to define technical solutions and user requirements.

The Sr. Full Stack Developer will be responsible for managing their own time and workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks and effective communication with team members.
