The Distribution Accounting Team is part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. The Distribution Accounting Team is responsible for the relevant transactions of wholegoods accounting and reporting. The Senior Distribution Accountant is responsible for completing the relevant month-end close tasks and work closely together with the Agco’s brands on standard tasks and ad-hoc projects.  
 

Your Impact:

-Accounting and reporting of inventory / wholegoods related transactions (reserve calculation, allocations, intercompany stock profit eliminations etc.)

-Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Attending monthly reviews with Brand Controllers. Answer and follow up queries during and after month end close. Participation in the annual wholegoods stock take

-Support ad-hoc projects (Telemetry revenue and cost accounting, outbound freight cost accounting etc.). Prepare and support revenue recognition testing

-FASS/KPMG PBC list preparations. Ensure SOX policies and procedures are adhered to

-Support internal and external audits. Contribute to a continuous improvement culture within the organization
 

Your Experience and Qualification:
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Bachelor degree in Finance or business (or similar) 
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Min 4 years of relevant experience 
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and reporting, preferably gained in a manufacturing company 
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-SAP experience Preferred with In-depth Excel knowledge 
 

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Experience in the field of margin analysis and/or standard cost calculation and reporting, variance analysis is distinct advantage

This role follows AGCO’s onsite work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 2 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
 

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
