  • Responsible for supporting the development of Cloud & Edge offerings within VBPS/PPE.
  • Production and maintenance of architecture/design documents for solutions and roadmaps for their desired end-states.
  • Capturing, documenting and sharing Architecture best practices and building and maintaining relationships with other Architecture areas within Vodafone.
  • Providing guidance to product and solution designers that are contributing to the Cloud & Edge Architecture or making use of it for Customer Solutions
  • Developing cross technology architecture strategy through the formation of working groups relating to enterprise product and business system technologies.

Who you areCore competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Self-motivated/self-starter with strong leadership, communication and influencing skills (up to C-Level) and the ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with business users and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience within a technology organisation in a similar role, leading end to end solution development / solution assurance and leading matrix teams
  • Deep understanding and experience in the application and development of products/strategies relating to Cloud technology with focus on Azure and AWS.
  • Understanding and experience in the application of Architecture frameworks and techniques.
  • Experience in implementing and adapting architecture techniques within multiple delivery scenarios (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, DevOps etc)

Desirable technical / professional qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Azure, AWS, Google, VMware
  • TOGAF COBIT, Zachmann, Tele Management Forum standards (TAM, eTOM and SID), ITIL etc
