Specialist SCM

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the procurement of parts, material, and services in accordance with the applicable Aviation Regulations and company procedures as well as the order processing (price control of material and delivery date of material should correspond to customer request), reminder process for open orders, off core tracking.

Operational activities:

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for indirect Material
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy, and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiate refunds
• Typical operative Purchasing activities with high demand of short material lead times in a pure project environment
• Administrate purchase orders with all its content like invoice control, blocked shipments, material search on the market etc.
• Intense contact with internal stakeholders and supplier duty is part of this job profile
• Coordination with Freight forwarder / Customs to ensure on time delivery of the shipment at destination

Qualification / experience

• Job relevant vocational training/ technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience of 2-4 years
• High School or commercial school in Logistics; project purchasing background
• Solid skills in Purchasing or generally SCM
• Understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework is beneficial
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in IT usage (MS Office)
• Driving licence B
• EU citizenship or valid work and residence permit

Work Environment

We remunerate your performance with a yearly gross salary of € 47.600. Willingness for overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
