The Project Management & Business Planning Specialist is a member of the German Country Management Office reporting to the Business Planning Manager. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a variety of strategic projects that contribute to the successful delivery of the Consumer and Corporate Card business priorities and German country management initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities:
Contribute to the effective running of the Consumer and Corporate Card Issuing Organization in Germany & Austria
Drive the successful execution and implementation of local business unit and country management related initiatives and projects in close coordination with various departments
Responsible for managing meeting content and presentations, such as team meetings and quarterly report meetings
Collaborate internationally with other business planners to drive business planning initiatives (cross-market)
Independently align all matters with various teams, such as marketing, HR and the works council
Strategic planning and alignment of colleague engagement activities
Build a strong network across the organization
Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on marketing/communications or comparable qualification
2-3 years of professional experience in project management and/or marketing field
Strong organizational skills to own the execution of initiatives and partner with a large number of employees and teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and German
Analytical, conceptual thinking and relationship building skills
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, make quick and pragmatic decisions and work in a solution-oriented manner
High level of integrity required to handle confidential information
Highly motivated and optimistic attitude with a good sense of humour

Our New Way Of Working
We back our colleagues with the support they need to thrive, professionally and personally. Therefore, we have launched the pilot phase of Amex Flex, which is currently planned until August 2023.
Amex Flex provides greater flexibility to colleagues while ensuring we preserve the important aspects of our unique in-person culture. Depending on the role and business needs, colleagues will either work onsite, in a hybrid model or fully virtual.
4-5 days per week in the office. For select roles that can only be performed in the office, those who cannot perform their roles effectively remotely, or for anyone who wants to come in every day.
A mix of in-office and virtual days, coming into the office 1-3 days per week on average. Leaders and colleagues will plan common days for in-person connection, collaboration and events.
Work from home exclusively or for the vast majority of the time.
