If you are a specialist with interest in stem-cell differential and immunology and T cell driven immunotherapies this project employment is a great opportunity. At DTU Health Tech you will work with world leading scientists in the fast-developing field of immunology.We are looking for a skilled and experienced specialist who will be responsible for establishing, optimising and using a process/protocol of iPSC-derived T cell maturation. The position is linked to the DigitStem project and is available in the Section of Experimental and Translational Immunology (xTI), DTU Health Tech, at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).In the Section of Experimental and Translational Immunology, we are focusing on understanding immune regulation, recognitions and signalling to unravel disease mechanism, and translate immunological finding into therapeutic strategies via design of nanomaterial to actively engage or manipulate the immune system.The position is part of the DigitStem project, a larger collaboration between Bioneer A/S, Hørsholm, Denmark and DTU, specifically focusing on the development of iPSC derived cell products for clinical use, as cell therapy products for cancer treatment. Novel protocols and screening tools is expected to derive from these projects. The position is specifically linked to the tasks given below.The job
The present project will be conducted in the research group ‘T cells & Cancer’, under supervision of Professor Sine Reker Hadrup. Responsibilities within the current project:
Today, most cell products are derived from autologous T cell sources, which is a major bottleneck for expanding cell therapy as a sustainable treatment option. Hence, there is an urgent need to develop strategies for off-the-shelf T cell products that can be tailored to patients’ need.Our expectations of you
