Job summaryWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced dietitian to join our team to support Upper GI oncology and Gastro. This role has a mix of inpatient and outpatient work with the opportunity to run a Dietitian led coeliac service and support Upper GI oncology patients through the surgical pathway. • Advanced communication and behavioural skills training
• Relevant advanced post graduate clinical training e.g. masters level clinical training

• Member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
• Clinical supervisory skills training

ExperienceEssential

• Post registration experience in a range of dietetic areas, including oncology patients and pancreatic/bowel surgery patients
• Experience of delivering training and presentations
• Experience of managing and supervising junior dietetic staff and student dietitians
• Experience of teaching and giving presentations to a group of patients
• Experience of working autonomously within an MDT taking a lead dietetic role
• Able to negotiate effectively with other disciplines
• Experience in service development, audit and clinical governance issues

• Experience of managing parenteral nutrition
• Development of dietetic policies and procedures
