Job Description & SummaryInfrastructure Managed Services Team is part of PwC’s Capital Projects & Infrastructure with a comprehensive service offering supporting our clients in preparation, structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects & investments.
Infrastructure Managed Services encompasses full suite of services focusing on successful delivery of investment projects including infrastructure projects & program management, cost controlling, schedule management, risk management, quality controlling & management, documents management, construction on-site support, project controls, contract & claim management, stakeholders management and other.
Infrastructure Managed Services Team while based in Poland focuses on servicing clients across the whole EMEA region with Poland and Germany being priority markets.We are looking for:Specialist in Cost ControllingYour future role:
- Support delivery of client engagements focusing on infrastructure construction management services covering primarily cost controlling
- Support our clients in successful delivery of large, groundbreaking, complex & long-term infrastructure investment projects with effective construction monitoring and management services
- Ensure smooth project execution and make a significant contribution to the sustainable success of the projects
- Cooperating closely with various teams and stakeholders and ensure that our clients can implement their major construction projects successfully and efficiently in accordance with the project goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Comprehensive project planning, budgeting, monitoring and coordination
- Preparation and/or review of baseline cost budget
- Preparing interim cost forecasts and monthly liquidity, cost and budget reports as well as updating the project CBS structure
- Carrying out appropriate analyses (plan/target/actual) and develop measures and recommendations for action for project management with the stakeholders
- Close communication with accounting and data maintenance in SAP
- Coordinating invoicing process and carrying out invoice audits
- Ensuring smooth flow of communication and information between other project participants and key stakeholders
- Coordinating with a team of infrastructure construction experts responsible for schedule management, risk management & project management
- Coordination of cost controlling processes and ensuring efficient reporting
- Proactive process management focusing on quality assurance
- Continuous monitoring of quality and cost efficiency in service delivery based on SLAs and KPIs
- Support in design and optimization of service delivery model and process flow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Apply if you have:
- Relevant engineering/financial/economic degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in controlling and management of medium and large infrastructure projects, or in a comparable controlling environment
- Practical work experience in the area of cost controlling of infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of commercial planning and control in the area of infrastructure and large-scale investments construction
- Confidence in using industry-specific software and key relevant MS Office products
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in German will be considered a strong plus (however, not a necessary requirement).
