Let’s talk about the role!

You as Specialist, Content Marketing will report to the Marketing Operations Manager, and you will play a vital role in supporting digital product content coordination for the global market.

Your role is to coordinate the creation of compelling visual product content and engaging written descriptions to showcase products effectively, enhancing the customer experience, and driving sales. Leading a key project in the marketing department and reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in managing all product imagery and descriptions for kipling.com and other digital players. You will be working closely together with the global marketing & product team, as well as the regional marketing teams.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this in the following key areas:

Product Imagery:

  • Support the product and marketing team to develop a visual strategy for product representation.

  • Coordinate the creation of high-quality product images with the external agency, ensuring they accurately represent the product’s features, details, and variations.

  • Manage the casting, fitting and styling for the e-comm model shots.

  • Manage the product selection for the e-comm model shots.

  • Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible library of product images.

  • Optimize images for various platforms and digital players.

Product Descriptions:

  • Coordinate the creation of clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions that highlight the key features, benefits, and unique selling points.

  • Conduct thorough research to understand the product’s specifications, functionalities, and target audience.

  • Tailor product descriptions to different marketing channels and customer segments.

  • In collaboration with the SEO agency, optimize product descriptions for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords and meta tags.

For product imagery & descriptionsl:

Quality Assurance :

  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards in all product imagery and descriptions.

  • Review and update product content based on customer feedback, market trends, and product updates.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the marketing, design and product teams, to gather necessary information and ensure product content aligns with brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with content agencies, copywriters and other professionals to ensure cohesive visual and written content.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the regions to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality product imagery and descriptions within specified timelines.

Skills for Success

You should:

  • Have 2-3 years experience in digital content coordination or a similar role, preferably in a global or international environment. Experience in an agency or brand is a plus;

  • Have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;

  • Be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have experience with graphic design and photo editing software, content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

  • Have advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.

  • Have E-commerce and Marketing Knowledge: Understanding the dynamics of e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, and digital marketing strategies is important. Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles is a plus.

A formal education and subsequent University bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, project management or a related field are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
