Full Time Spanish Teacher position in Hazlemere Secondary School starting from September 2024Pay: £33,075 – £45,037 (depending on experience)Start Date: September 2024Location: HazlemereHours: Full timeAbout the role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Spanish Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Hazlemere, starting in September 2024. If you are an inspiring educator with a love for languages, this is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them foster a love for language learning and develop strong communication skills in Spanish.The role will require the following responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons to students from KS3 to GCSE
• Prepare students for exams, including coursework, assessments, and speaking exams
• Inspire a passion for Spanish and foster a positive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the MFL department to enhance the curriculum
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities related to languages and cultural awareness

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Specialism in Spanish, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level (A-level desirable)
• A proven track record of successful teaching in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching languages
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to continuous professional development
• Has a clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
