We are looking for a

Sourcing Specialist
(based in SWEP Slovakia, Kechnec)
Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with suppliers. This role ensures that the organization obtains the best possible quality, cost, and delivery outcomes by leveraging strategic sourcing techniques, market intelligence, and negotiation skills. The Sourcing Specialist partners with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translates them into sourcing strategies that drive efficiency, compliance, and value.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will:

-Assist in execution of sourcing strategies for assigned categories or projects
-Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers or candidates to ensure alignment with organizational standards
-Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers/vendors to optimize total cost of ownership
-Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, industry trends, and supplier innovations
-Manage supplier relationships and performance, including regular evaluations and corrective actions when necessary
-Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Operations, Finance, HR, Engineering) to ensure sourcing solutions meet operational requirements
-Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier data, and procurement documentation
-Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulatory requirements
-Support continuous improvement initiatives across the sourcing and procurement function
-Lead, support or coordinate sourcing activities
-Upon request, participate or lead projects
-Contribute to development of the Sourcing process
-Deploy the Dover agreements
 
We are looking for candidates ideally demonstrating:

-Good communication skills verbally and written
-Strategic thinking, ability to see a long-term perspective
-Multicultural competence
-3 years working experience in a similar position
 

You need to be fluent in English and Slovak language.

 
You should also have:

-University degree, Supply Chain management, Engineering or economics or other relevant education in combination with 3 years’ experience within Strategic Sourcing
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
-Good negotiation skills
