Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchase Order Conversion

• You will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, considering requirements, delivery times, and costs.

• You will collaborate closely with suppliers in Germany and abroad to ensure timely and accurate order placement.

• You will also monitor delivery deadlines and take proactive measures to ensure on-time delivery.

2. Supplier and Material Data Management:

• You will maintain and update supplier and material master data in our ERP system.

• Ensuring accurate records of supplier information, pricing, and lead times will also be one of your tasks.

3. Logistics Coordination:

• The organization of transportation logistics for incoming goods, coordinating with carriers and internal teams will also be within your area of expertise.

• You will also ensure the availability of goods by managing inventory levels and replenishment.

4. Process Optimization:

• You will identify potential savings opportunities within the procurement process.

• You will also implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• You are pushing data analyses and dash applications thus creating transparency

5. Escalation and Missing Parts Management:

• Addressing supply chain escalations promptly, working closely with relevant stakeholders will also be one of your responsibilities.

• Last but not least you will manage missing parts situations to minimize disruptions in production.

Qualifications:

• You have a commercial apprenticeship related to logistics, including relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

• Extensive understanding of logistics processes.

• Knowledge of creating and managing PowerBI dashboards or similar visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView. Experience in using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
