We are looking for a Sourcing Manager, to join the team at Johnson & Johnson at Beerse (Antwerp). This comes with visiting the other sites of J&J in Leiden and Switzerland, on a occasionally basis (1x/year)

You have strong communication skills in English and Dutch (orale & written). Knowledge of German is a plus.

As a CBRE Sourcing Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of employees

responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services

and spare parts supply. You will also assist a client or department with the development and

execution of sourcing and procurement strategies.

This job is part of the Sourcing function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing

goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

Key tasks :

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct

performance evaluations and coaching. Support the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

• Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and

cross-train staff. Work with business stakeholders, operational shared services team members,

and sponsors to develop, coordinate, and execute strategy at local and regional levels.

• Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other business documents in support of the

purchase of goods and services.

• Review the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals. Inform peers

and management of changes or results.

• Manage supplier and contractor certification process. Conduct periodic visits to supplier work

locations to review vendor performance.

• Drive account level cost control, savings creation, cost-out programs and report the results as

directed periodically.

• Analyse account-wide services spend, suppliers and operations to identify opportunities for value

creation.

• Prepare and maintain legal contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure

contracts adhere to company standards

Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence

parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Deal with sensitive issues.

• Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team

and departmental objectives.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may

not be evident in existing systems and processes.

Person specification

• Bachelor’s degree in either Business,

• Management, Procurement, Supply

• Chain, Logistics or similar.

• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. orN.A.C.M. certifications preferred

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to

• communicate with people at all levels across the business.

• Advances negotiation abilities. Capable of developing effective working relationships at middle and senior levels.

• Excellent computer skills, with experience in Word, Excel,

• PowerPoint and Outlook

• Fluent in the English and Dutch, language both written and oral. German is a plus.

• ERP system experience with SAP, Maximo, Coupa is preferred

• 3-5 years of previous client-facing experience in Procurement/Sourcing, consulting or medical device manufacturing environment

• Communication with senior management levels

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently.

• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department

• Previous client-facing experience (preferred)

• An understanding of laboratory operations or asset management business (preferred)
