Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.Come and join us to create the future together!The Solutions Architect role will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end (E2E) 5G core network solutions for mobile network operators. You will bring your expertise in 5G core technologies and automation frameworks to the table, ensuring efficient and scalable network deployments. Works on planning, design and dimensioning of the Core and Services Engineering systems and platforms with a horizontal and vertical E2E service view and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyses requirements/solutions design
  • Contributes to the e2e HLD/LLD definition
  • Lead the integration of automation frameworks into the 5G core network deployment process. Foster an automation framework and the use of network and service orchestrators in the 5GC integration
  • Run capacity analysis and define capacity plans. Specifies performance criteria/KPIs
  • Defines test lists, test strategies and deployment strategies of new services/architectures

What you bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Core Network and/or operations
  • Solid knowledge of Network design / architecture and CORE Network experience
  • 3GPP architectures and protocols in 2G/3G/4G/5G context
  • 5G Core architecture both NSA and SA
  • Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Containerization in the Core and Services ecosystem
  • Networking and troubleshooting skills
