This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset to ensure project success.Responsibilities (Mandatory):

• Define technology-oriented solutions to meet project requirements.
• Specify architectural features tailored to individual projects.
• Verify solutions’ compliance with organizational standards and guidelines.
• Make decisions regarding tools, technologies, and patterns to be employed.
• Ensure code quality through adherence to best practices and reviews.
• Identify technical risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Design solutions that are scalable, performant, and secure.
• Collaborate with Development, Quality Assurance, and Architecture teams for seamless delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, evaluating their applicability.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Participate actively in code reviews to uphold consistency and quality.
• Lead and collaborate with Agile teams, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Highly Appreciated Skills or Willingness to Learn:

• Leadership: Inspire teams, influence decisions without direct authority, and drive change effectively.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicting priorities, opinions, and resource constraints with tact and diplomacy.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, and other stakeholders, effectively managing expectations.

Profile Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Solution Designer.
• Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in software architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dutch or French.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum).
• Knowledge of source control (Git) and unit testing practices.

Working Conditions:

• Onsite presence in Brussels for at least 2 days per week.
• Flexible remote work policy (typically 3 days remote), subject to adjustments based on project needs.
