Picture yourself being recognized as an expert on API Management in the organization.Picture yourself designing a framework for governing standards and guardrails for API Management and other capabilities. Picture yourself interacting with both providers and consumers of services hosted on your platform. Picture yourself working closely together with the Product Owner and engineers in making your platform better all the time. Picture yourself being part of a team of architects who are jointly responsible for all integration platforms in Rabobank.At Rabobank we run many applications. These applications exchange data or interact with each other in various ways. This is what we refer to as application integration.Over time we have seen many different ways in which applications can interact with each other. Technology and organizational developments of the last decades have substantially changed these, mostly for the better.At Rabobank we strive to embed application integration in the corporate philosophy and subsequent operating model where teams work mostly autonomously. This requires a fresh outlook on application integration where central integration platforms offer self-service for both providers and consumers.The Area Integration is the area of Rabobank that provides self-service integration platforms, as well as standards and governance for applying application integration and using these platforms.As a solution architect in the area you:

• Co-design and maintain the self-service API Management platform.
• Design and maintain the governance framework and processes for (API Management and other) standards and guardrails.
• Co-create designs and roadmaps for your platform.
• Make sure that the platform continuously evolves along with business requirements, principles, policies and regulations.
• Interact with stakeholders of your platform (the community): Both providers and consumers, and both as a consultant and asking for requirements.
• Interact with internal and external suppliers of components on which your platform is built.
• As the solution architect for a team are part of that team and together with a product owner, scrum master and tech representative coordinate the work of that team.
• Are a coach for the engineers, both in technological expertise as in behaviour.
• Are part of a team of 7 solution architects working together on integration platforms with each having their own specialism.

RequirementsWithin the Area Integration we value autonomy, open communication, resilience to change, alignment and transparency. Good (verbal and written) communication skills are crucial for this position. In this role you must be be able to communicate well with various kinds of people, anything between business managers and engineers.In addition you should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (ICT).
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an engineer within the field of application integration.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of networking.
• Good understanding of self-service platform dynamics.
• Have a zero-trust security mindset.
• Good understanding of Identity and Access Management, ideally also for non-personal accounts.
• Good understanding of Secrets Management.
• Good understanding of logging & monitoring.
• Good analytical skills.
• Prepared to take ownership.
• Prepared to challenge.
• Prepared to cooperate.

• Based on your experience: up to max € 90.000,00 incl all benefits (40 hours) depending on your experience.

• a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
