As a Legal Counsel, you’ll provide strategic legal guidance and drive innovation for businesses in Belgium and Luxemburg. You will leverage your expertise to influence regional projects, lead on commercial, corporate and real estate matters, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.As a Solo Legal Counsel, you will report to the General Counsel Benelux and France. What you will do:
- Strategic Legal Guidance: Advise senior business leaders on pivotal projects and strategic initiatives.
- Comprehensive Support: Provide expert legal advice across Mobility, Fleet Solutions, Specialties, Aviation, and Lubricants in BeLux.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Drive improvements and efficiencies in legal practices and ways of working.
- Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of learning by packaging and sharing team insights and linking global and local aspects for optimal outcomes.
- Training and Compliance: Lead training sessions on Legal Services principles, focusing on Ethics & Compliance and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Corporate Management: Oversee corporate matters of entities through external service providers.
- Real Estate Expertise: Offer specialized legal advice on real estate projects in Belgium and Luxemburg

- Expertise: Around 8 years of experience in commercial and corporate law. Real estate law is a plus.
- Multilingual Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

- Adaptive and Collaborative: Excel in prioritizing and adapting, working effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

- Risk Management Specialist: Demonstrate experience in risk and reputational management skills, adept at handling multiple tasks and projects.
