Security & Operations Team is key in our organization to support development teams in view of achieving to deliver releases and projects in a predictive manner, to guarantee high-quality standard of our products and to mitigate associated risks on quality and security.

Security & Operations Team Lead is an orchestrator dealing with a large set of resources and means in place to implement our SDLC (Software Development Life cycle) in an efficient way.

Your major responsibility is to foster development teams bringing to bear value for our customers by acting as the referent for the execution of processes and standard methodologies. As a strong advisor, you facilitate software development processes by supporting all collaborators: on 3rd party tools and security, quality assurance and operations coordination.

In this role, interactions, cross-collaboration, and leadership are essential:

• Being an excellent communicator, you can lead multi-functional teams, regardless of reporting structure: You inspire and manage day-to-day your own team reports, but you are also able to influence development teams to enhance themselves every day by doing the right things and the things right. You are a strong teammate and creative problem solver who can work with multi-cultural, dispersed technical teams.

• You are responsible, supported by your team, for release’s ceremonies global events and coordinate release’s gates in collaboration with PMs & SMs and broader Siemens organization.

Through the release’s schedule, you track risks and impediments through metrics and review sessions. You will be technical referent to collate and prioritize requests to be submitted to our Operations advocate to get the best support to our development teams.

• In addition, for few complex projects that require expertise, you act as a program manager for transverse programs and facilitate their technical execution: analysis, follow-up, actions planning, etc.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you as a Software Engineer , with hands on experience related to Security, Ops, QA domains and technical expertise enabling you working around those domains . A previous people manager and/or project manager would be a nice plus.

For this team key role, we are looking for a facilitator who is comfortable presenting in front of the leadership and management using tools and techniques to keep the participants interested and engaged, as well as a mentor for the team.

Thanks to your excellent communication skills , you know how to say what needs to be said in a respectful and tactful way and lead the team to the success. You use your critical thinking to quickly analyze a situation and coordinate your colleagues to discuss a possible solution. You build strong relationships with your interlocutors and easily integrate in an international and multicultural context.

You can understand sophisticated products, solutions, and issues and are able to report consistently, concisely, and effectively to the various stakeholders allowing for management prioritization, investment, and reporting.
