Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Software Quality Lead to join our software organization. This role is critical in ensuring that our quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) practices are consistently executed across all our software departments. The Software Quality Lead will define and implement strategies to detect defects early, optimize testing resources, and maintain clear and measurable quality indicators. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Definition and Execution for QA/QC

• Define strategies to achieve QA/QC objectives.
• Collaborate with the software departments to ensure successful strategy execution.

Resource Management

• Optimize the use of testing resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper allocation of qualified QA/QC resources.
• Assist department managers in recruiting QA/QC employees.
• Collaborate with QA/QC partners.

Process Standardization

• Define and maintain documentation for a unified process for quality assurance across the software development departments.
• Determine the required tools to support the defined process.
• Communicate processes/tools to QA engineers, automation engineers, and other test specialists.
• Ensure processes are up-to-date with the needs of the software departments.

Metrics Availability

• Ensure the agreed metrics are collected for all agile teams.
• Make metrics available for interested parties.

Key Activities

• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with QA/QC processes.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management and other stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities in QA/QC processes.
• Maintain documented processes for all QA-related activities (e.g., feature testing, release testing, automated testing, performance testing).
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure alignment on strategies, policies, and processes.
• Facilitate a Community of Practice (CoP) for testers in the agile teams, aligning best practices and sharing experiences.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Extensive practical experience with QA/QC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
