MORE ABOUT THIS JOB:What We DoOur global team is a fundamental part of the Prime Brokerage and Clearing Services groups under the Prime Services umbrella within the Securities Division. We drive major business decisions and run business critical systems in Client Analytics area. This is a position is for a Client Analytics Dev Strat role. In this engineering and entrepreneurial role, we build and maintain large scale web-based applications including first principles PnL models, balances, market analysis, sales tools for projections and tracking and various other tools that help in improving business of the division. While organized in different teams and locations, we pride ourselves in our teamwork across the globe to find solutions that help our business grow across all regions. Our team members have a wide variety of engineering, quantitative, academic and cultural backgrounds. This diversity helps us to find innovative solutions for our complex business problems.Your impactYou will work closely with engineering teams across Strats and Technology, business areas across Sales, Finance, and client services within and outside the Prime Services business. You will establish and build-on partnerships with colleagues across the Securities Division and the Finance Division. You will enjoy a widely scoped role that rewards multi-tasking, initiative and strong execution. You will be working on cutting edge technologies relating to data, web and analytics to solve complex business problems and you will also have a direct impact on key revenue streams in Equities and Prime Services business. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:ResponsibilitiesAs a member of this team, you will be expected to have strong web development/engineering and analytical skills. You will work on Client Analytics web applications and services for delivering revenue and balances metrics to sales, senior management; analyzing market share across client base; building web based platforms to manage sales targets, client requirements, trend analysis; work on cutting edge technologies to manage large scale data and provide best in class solutions. You will spend time understanding the trade flows and business, and implement logic to automate them using both front-end and back-end technologies. At the same time, you will implement new or enhance existing models/tools to enable new activity, on-board new flows and clients.

Who We Look ForBasic Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Computer Science / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, C, C++, Java, Python, C# or equivalent language
• Web development experience using AngularJS, ReactJS or similar JS frameworks
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Strong knowledge in database/data warehousing technologies such as ASE/Oracle/IQ
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver strategic results in a timely fashion
• Comfortable working on multiple projects, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of programming experience
• Experience in load testing and performance optimizations is a plus
• High performance & throughput server side programming is a plus
