As a Software Engineer, you are part of a tight-knit mid-sized team of smart software engineers at Denuvo’s HQ in Salzburg, Austria. You are responsible for developing and operating cloud applications and services for Denuvo’s Anti-Piracy and Anti-Cheat offerings which are used by the world’s largest gaming publishers.

This role exposes you to technologies such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Python, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Cloud formation, etc.), Gitlab, and Linux.

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Develop and operate cloud-based (AWS) applications with java, spring, and other modern web frameworks (e.g. Angular).
• Work with stakeholders on architecting new features and delivering regular improvements to our products.
• Design and implement online services with a focus on high availability, service performance and reliability.
• Develop, maintain, and document clean code, in an agile manner, as part of a mid-size Scrum team.
• Deliver testable, high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop.

How can you add value to the team?

• You have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• You can demonstrate experience in programming applications in Java using object-oriented development methods.
• Experience with Spring, PostgreSQL and Angular is desirable.
• Affinity with cloud technologies (AWS, etc.) is a plus.
• Firm understanding of web protocols and technologies is a plus.
• You bring analytical thinking and have a passion for solving problems.
• You are able to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal).
