- Designing technical solutions, building, testing and implementing new business requirements
- Enhancing the overall user experience (in terms of usability, performance, security, etc.);
- Modernizing the application architecture or underlying components (including the use of cloud components and automation capabilities);
- Reducing technical debt and/or introducing incremental changes to the IT architecture (e.g by using microservices, containerization)
- Adding new technologies to fulfill a specific business need (e.g. a message broker)
- Enhancing the integration and data flows within the ecosystem
- Enhancing the integration with other systems
- Working in a small and close-knit team who supports each other and shares knowledge actively
- Being responsible and guarding the service you build
Your key skills:
- Demonstrated experience in building API-First Approach products
- Knowledge of the following programming language: Python
- Knowledge of Google Cloud platform (preferably) or other public cloud providers (AWS or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with serverless and cloud native computing
- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Datastore databases
- Proficiency with BigQuery, Datastore or other data storage technology
- Fluent communication skills in English
Skills we’d consider a plus:
- Knowledge of other public cloud providers: AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of the following programming languages: JavaScript / TypeScript
- Familiarity with Apigee API management platform
- Experience in frontend development using Angular
