The Role: 

As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement security features for mobile platforms. You will also reverse engineer existing cheats or cracks and research vulnerabilities in mobile apps to gain understanding of attack vectors and to be able to design appropriate countermeasures. In this role, you will be joining our Mobile Protection team. Our main goal is the become the #1 provider for anti-piracy and anti-cheat solutions on mobile platforms. We are providing technology which enables our customers to making sure everybody is able to enjoy a fair playing experience in their games. 

This role could be based in either Austria or Poland. 

Your mission at Irdeto: 

• Be a part of a small, international agile team in an English-speaking environment where your opinions and ideas are encouraged and heard.
• Acquire extensive know-how and skills in the newest technologies in video gaming security industry.
• Research new security technologies, document and present finding to the team.
• Implement security features and integrate them into our protection framework.
• Analyze cheats and cracks to gain new knowledge about hacking approaches.
• Participate in planning of our road map and decide on the next features to be added to our solution.

How you can add value to the team? 

• Programming experience in C / C++ / Python.
• Good understanding of mobile operating systems (Android, iOS).
• Practical experience in reverse engineering on mobile platforms.
• Analytical thinking, appreciation for high quality code, and enjoy solving complex problems using clean, simple solutions.
• You can comfortably communicate in English (written and verbal).
