What you’ll do 

The S/4HANA Classification component allows you to use characteristics to describe all types of objects, and to group similar objects in classes – to classify objects, in other words. Then these classes can be used to help you to find objects more easily, using the characteristics defined in them as search criteria. This ensures that you can find objects with similar or identical characteristics as quickly as possible.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in object-oriented languages. Responsibilities will include working on complex projects, assisting with technical decision-making, and contributing to the overall success of our development team. This position requires analytical skills, you will work with frameworks (like RAP) and external communication protocols (like OData, SOAP).

As Classification component integrated into many business processes in S/4HANA, we need to align quite often with colleagues from different locations. We build on your ability to be a team player, on your cross-cultural sensitivity, and on your strong communication and presentation skills.

In your role your tasks will cover:

-Research, design, development, and test of usable software closely collaborating with Product Management
-Use the methods of agile software engineering, e.g. pair-programming and code reviews 
-Contribute to automation of Classification processes 
-Create excellence both in terms of quality and scalability through continuous evaluation, analysis, and refinement of the system implementation
-Keen to learn business processes and translate customer requirements to end-user software
-Focus on producing and verifying Quality-driven coding practices
 

What you bring

type=”disc”-
-You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or PhD in (business) informatics, natural sciences, information systems, economics or in a comparable field.
-1+ years of experience in Software Development 
-Solid programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (like JAVA, C++, ABAP OO, or similar).
-Passion for technology and software craftsmanship 
-Good problem-solving and analytical skills 
-Willingness and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies 
-Excellent team player, passionate about your work 
-Excellent communication skills both in Hungarian and in English, both verbal and written are essential
-Strong interest in business applications, and how the different business processes utilize Classification capabilities.
Experience in following technologies is a plus

-ABAP (RAP) / CDS Views / OData
-Scrum Methodology 
-Fiori-Elements / SAP UI5 / GitHub
-Artificial Intelligence related technologies

Our area, Classification, is within SCM Core delivering for S/4HANA Public Cloud and also Private Cloud / OP. Our component is integrated with several S/4HANA business processes like Product Maintenance, Variant Configuration, Batch Management, Retail, Enterprise Asset Management.
