I focus on building robust back-end REST APIs that support our AI tools.Currently, I’m involved in the Transformative Traffic Information project, which uses live data to predict timetable schedules and delays for trains, ensuring our customers receive timely updates on arrivals and departures at various stations across Denmark.The variety in my tasks keeps me engaged; I work with cloud computing, architecture, and infrastructure, exploring different technologies. Collaboration is key here – our team actively communicates with the business to gather requirements, and there’s a culture of knowledge-sharing across teams, even amidst busy schedules.”Says Akil who works as a Developer in the AI Team and has been with us for 2 years.Join the AI TeamWe develop innovative solutions that will benefit DSB and our customers.You will be an important part of our AI team, working with complex components for handling AI models.In this role, you will be part of a project where we develop the groundbreaking event-driven AI platform of the future centered around traffic control and information systems of the future.The platform is designed to develop, train, and deploy ML models as well as orchestrating and monitoring multiple models in real-time to predict and inform about any delays across all main lines efficiently and accurately.Gain insight into the AI team by watching the attached video.What Will You Be Doing?Your role will focus on developing systems for AI model handling and AI model monitoring, which will contribute to the optimal performance and reliability of our AI solutions.Your tasks will include

• Design, development, and implementation of AI applications.
• Implementing monitoring solutions for AI models.
• Collaborating with data scientists and other developers to integrate AI components.
• Ensuring efficiency and reliability in AI applications.

Akil’s Typical Day as a Software Developer in the AI TeamMy day often begins with building C# REST APIs to support our applications, along with focusing on infrastructure development, including DevOps, and maintaining our cloud applications across various environments.After getting settled, I check my emails and review my calendar. We then hold a team stand-up meeting to discuss our progress from the previous day, outline our tasks for today, and identify any support we might need. It’s also a good opportunity to catch up with colleagues over a coffee break.In the afternoon, I typically attend a meeting to plan for an upcoming release. We align our goals and tasks, addressing any blockers with the Data, Application, and Business teams. Afterward, we take a moment to unwind, through a casual chat or another activity.

During the initial phases of a project, we have several meetings, but after about 1-2 weeks, the workflow tends to smooth out. We regularly present our development progress to internal teams and stakeholders, engage in feedback sessions, and hold retrospectives to discuss successes and challenges.Who Are You?We are looking for a specialist and enthusiast in software design and development.You thrive in a role where you can apply your technical expertise to develop and optimize complex systems.You appreciate a working day with diverse and complex tasks.Professionally, we are looking for you who have

• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven design and clean architecture.
• Knowledge of one of the software design principles: KISS, SOLID, or DRY.
• Hands-on experience with the .NET Framework, Python, Azure SDKs using C#, REST APIs, Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized solutions.
