Nordisk Interactive / PlayStation Nordic is seeking a passionate, dynamic and multi-talented individual for the Community & Cultural Activation team.

Reporting to the Community and Cultural Activation Manager, you as the Brand Engagement & Community Specialist in Denmark will play a vital part in making PlayStation the best place to play by amplifying our brand’s presence through strategic social media management, impactful influencer relations and community management.

Your mission is to boost PlayStation community engagements, grow our follower base while driving awareness and consideration for the PlayStation brand – it’s hardware, software, peripherals & services.

The ideal candidate for this role comes equipped with robust communication skills and strategic thinking abilities, complemented by creativity. Excellent organizational or project management skills are crucial, along with a strong passion for PlayStation.
Additionally, the candidate should have proven experience in engaging communities across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and Instagram. If you are a natural relationship builder who has successfully managed relationships with influencers and players before then we’d love to talk to you.

Key objective of position
Make PlayStation the best place to play by maximizing the presence of the PlayStation Brand, Product & Services in our Owned & Earned channels.

  • Implement the social marketing strategy across key owned PlayStation social media channels in Denmark. You will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations, global content support, local content development, reporting and analysis supporting the Editorial, Content Creation & Publishing Lead.
  • Co-manage production of local content to drive social media engagement and reach yearly social KPI’s.
  • Manage our local PlayStation community to drive engagement in Owned channels.
  • Manage the local influencer program to ensure we have strong local ambassadors representing the PlayStation brand and driving awareness for key products and services in Denmark.

What you’ll be doing:
Social Media Management:

  • Bring PlayStation communities together over shared passions and help our fans discover new first-party and third-party games, celebrate update for their live service favourites and inform on the latest news in gaming hardware (PS5, PSVR2), peripherals and subscription services.
  • Together with Editorial, Content Creation & Publishing Lead, help to formulate annual strategic plans across all social media platforms and support the marketing team in developing, implementing, and maintaining social media campaigns.
  • Lead local day-to-day operations of PlayStation social channels in your territory working closely with agency partners in developing monthly social content plans and identifying and actioning relevant real-time opportunities.
  • Work with PlayStation Global and third-party partner studios to ensure Global content beats are being supporting across relevant PlayStation social channels.
  • Possess a strong understanding of gaming and pop culture and upcoming/ongoing trends on social media platforms to stay informed about industry changes and new developments and social media feature updates
  • Work with Editorial, Content Creation & Publishing Lead and agency partners to plan and develop local social content that is culturally relevant and aligned to PlayStation monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI’s & priorities.
  • Support coverage for local and Global live events.
  • Be the voice of PlayStation in your market ensuring content and copy aligns with our Global PlayStation brand behaviours and localized tone-of-voice.
  • Locally responsible for reporting and analysis of social performance, developing benchmarks, best practices and sharing insight and takeaways on assigned project from high level plan.

Influencer and Content Creation management:

  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key influencers and power users, and track the impact of that interaction.
  • Work with PR & Influencer lead + other Marketing Team members to plan and execute local influencer strategy.
  • Establish metrics for growing and engaging content creator audience; regularly analyse & report on sentiment and make adjustments plan according to performance.
  • Prepare and manage talent during events and live-streams to ensure the highest-quality broadcast.
  • Initiate positive and supportive conversations with content creators around content, competitions, information, and opportunities that will be of interest to our players.
  • Represent PlayStation in Influencers and Community events and help to hold offline gathering to strengthen our bond with them.
  • Manage content schedule and provide content suggestions to the selected influencers and support them in co-creation of content for both their own and PlayStation’s owned channels.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in social media marketing, creative agency roles, talent/influencer management, and partner/program management.
  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to operate independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Passion for both gaming and social media with a desire to build communities and stay informed on emerging trends.
  • A deep understanding of the social media industry as well as the Danish social media landscape. This includes spotting digital trends and understanding creative best practices.
  • Familiarity with Content Creator platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch) along with experience or willingness to learn about using social media analysis tools.
  • A background in business/marketing/communications or a related field is desirable but relevant experience would also suffice.
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires strategic thinking along with efficient execution of tasks.
  • Lastly but importantly being a team player who can cultivate relationships both internally and externally will help capture hearts/minds driving fandom/influence within gamer culture.
  • Excellent communications skills in both Danish and English needed.
