Job description
Social Media Strategy, Analysis & Community Managmeent:
- Develop strategies to grow the organization’s digital presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
- Create, manage, and schedule engaging social media content.
- Execute campaigns (giveaways, challenges, etc.) to boost engagement. Track trends and incorporate viral content into posts.
- Collaborate with influencers to extend reach and amplify messaging.
- Analyze performance data to refine strategies and optimize engagement.
- Report on key metrics to drive improvements.
- Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages.
- Foster authentic relationships with the online community.
Content Creation:
- Produce engaging content, including posts, videos, and graphics, aligned with the organization’s mission and branding.
- Capture and edit event photos/videos for social media.
- Stay updated on content creation trends and tools.
- Copywrite newsletters, website news, and other communication materials.
- Support teams with internal/external communications materials (e.g., PowerPoint templates, Word documents, flyers, banners).
Digital Activities:
- Contribute to the global strategy of digital communications and collaborate with the digital team on activities like website updates, fundraising platforms, SEA/SEO, etc.
You have a first experience in social media management (internship)You’re a perfectly English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- A small experience in digital community management, social media content creation, or a similar role.
- A creative mindset with the ability to adapt to new trends, challenges, and technologies.
- Sociable personality, thriving on interactions with diverse individuals and teams.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Threads, etc.), trends, and best practices.
- Experience with video production/editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong ability to interpret social media analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage diverse online and offline communities.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and building relationships with digital influencers/brand ambassadors is a plus.
- Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills.
- At least C1-level proficiency in spoken and written English and French and/or Dutch.
